My Poohpie was my only baby for 7 years. She did not care for kids or babies at all. I had my first child when she was 7 years old and she acted as if the baby was hers. She LOVED him. She would lay next to him and "protect" him from our cats when they tried to smell him. I really feel like your baby will love your New baby because he will know that it is apart of you. At least that is my experience
