Neutering did not slow down my Yorkie. He is 13 months old and just as feisty and playful as ever. Your dog is just recovering from surgery; he isn't worrying about what he has lost. Give your pup lots of cuddles and a little puppy massage.
Keeping the dog relatively quiet for 2 weeks is a tough job. I tried to keep life as normal as possible for Maximo by doing things like
carrying him the same 1-mile path we walk every morning. People laughed, but I didn't care.
Maximo continues to lift his leg, which doesn't bother me. He humps occasionally (more like an Elvis Presley hip gyration thing

). Both behaviors are individual to each dog; some do and some don't.
