I have always loved this website for the recipes...but my friend directed me to an article on this blog regarding aperture and I found an entire photography section. The "What the Heck" series might be of particular interest to people just starting to figure out how to use their new cameras. It has helped me a lot! She uses "regular speak" and it is broken down into easy to understand sections and simplifies things for newbies. There is also a section where she discusses what camera she uses (she uses Nikon) and a description of each of the lenses that she utilizes as well. Enjoy...
