FYI Ruger was neutered about 3 weeks ago and he was 5 months old yesterday. I give him a firm NO when he starts going where he's not supposed to, and I probably don't clean as well as I should. I have wood floors upstairs and they are the same color as pee. Tonight I will probably go around the floor with a UV light and see what I can find.
As for confining him, I live in a one bedroom home that is very small. Upstairs is the living room/kitchen and he can see his pad from anywhere in the room. When I go out or when I am home I usually put a gate at the stairs to keep him upstairs. |
