Just for the record... I believe a hug and a smile can go miles. I do not always remember but try to recognize that when someone may appear unkind, or they cut me off in traffic, or bump into me in a store and say nothing -- that maybe they are having a VERY bad day and need my consideration. What if... I ask myself... what if her daughter just was in a car accident or what if she is waiting to hear that her best friend is out of surgery...
We just never know and it never hurts to show a little extra kindness...
