I can't give much advice since Ella doesn't run out the door when it opens. Although, an invisible fence is a big NO for me. They are very harmful to the animals heart, heard this on It's Me Or The Dog on Animal Planet. Down the road there are 2 german shepherds inside an invisible fence. I've walked by them many time w/ Ella but one day they decided to jump the fence and attack us. If their owner wouldn't have been outside idk what would have happened. I would go w/ a baby gate, or as Britster said obedience training. =]
