The company would tell you not to split the dose, but some vets don't have a problem with it. Personally, with your dogs weights, I wouldn't have a problem splitting it.
It works well for some and not for others. It is possible that fleas in certain areas are becoming immune to it.
Frontline does not expire if it is kept in the conditions stated on the box.
