Sophie eventually got used to the car. Getting a snoozer car seat really helped so she could be up high. On the carrier, I've had her in the Kwigy Bo carrier 2 times where she was completely enclosed (I was sneaking her in) and both times she got sick in it. I think it may be the different kind of motion that she's not used to, but I'm going to keep trying. I just ordered a new Carrier from Crickettsmom where she can stick her head out and I'll see if she likes that one for a while and then I'll try the KB one again. My advice is to not let your baby eat before you get in the car. I usually don't let Sophie eat any sooner than 1 hour before we go. If your baby is young though, be careful on not feeding since they can get low blood sugar quickly. Also, I make sure to keep lots of water if it's warm out. That seems to help Sophie. |
