With other breeds this is true, but with Yorkies, they often don't fall out on their own. People usually have them pulled at the time of neutering because pulling their teeth requires anesthesia. If left in the double row of teeth can cause food built up and gum disease, which means the permanent teeth will fall out, and that's not good.
