There are varying opinions about scheduled feedings vs. free feeding (leaving food available all day). I do something in between: scheduled meals, but I don't take away the food if Maximo doesn't eat it right away.
Reesie could be bored with his food. Is it kibble and have you tried putting anything special on it to entice him? You could try little bits of a green bean or two, or little bits of Natural Balance lamb roll -- just a little.
Maximo has been eating his entire meal more consistently after I changed his food. I think he was bored with Natural Balance. He loves his Fromm Chicken a la Veg. |
