I saw a flea on Thor one time and used Frontline - that seemed to be enough.
I don't know much about the different brands, but they do specialize in different things. Is it possible that Advantix just kills fleas on contact? Maybe you can ask your vet if Advantix is the right treatment.
Also, I've read that if you have fleas, you should vacuum like crazy - I guess the movements prompts eggs to hatch, so you can kill them right away, rather than have them lurking for months and then bringing on another infestation.
Do you have another "vector" in your house? Another pet, maybe? |
