The can take a quick smear, scope it, and if there is bacteria/fungus, give you an ointment that covers both. I wouldn't leave a possible ear infection unchecked bc they can go deeper into the ear and really cause a problem .

I just sniffed the ear and it smelled like a mix of clean and outside. Is that a good sign?
