Lucy whines for everything. Whines to get on the bed; to get off; when she's hungry; when no one is playing with her; when she's in her crate.
Actually, it's quite effective for her. When I hear that sad little whine, I rush to fulfill her every whim!
She rarely barks (which is great) but when she does . . Oh My! The shrillness of it hurts my ears.
I prefer the whine!
