The mother should be with the pups all the time right now...it's up to her to decide when it's time to leave for potty breaks or to take a minute out of the whelping area...not you and she will wean the pups when the time comes. She will come and go as her pups need her.
Is her area set up so she can come and go from the whelping area if she needs to or does she have potty pads in that area for her to use when needed? |
