I am so sorry that he is so stressed.
Bra'Tac and Andromeda were a little upset by the car as well. I started taking them on just a 5 minute drive, 1 mile up the street to the Burger King with my son. The whole time we held them and said, "going for Yum-Yum". Then when we would get them home we would give them each a tiny piece of burger. {I know, I know, Burger King burgers are horrible for them, but just a tiny piece. } This seemed to work.
Now when we go to the vet, I tell them. They also know what "vet" means, and that is when they really start shaking. But I would rather tell them the truth.
