I use Interceptor. It's very affordable. I have looked at alot of other heartworm preventatives and Interceptor prevents a good amount of worms besides just heartworms. It's about 5 dollars a pill and 25 for a 6 month supply, that is at my vet. Ella really likes taking it too b/c it's small and meat flavored. =]
