Why is she taking steroids? Steroids won't help the yeast situation...will she be going off the steroids?
If this yeast is chronic, systemic, recurrent etc (which I'm thinking from how you sound?), the vet needs to address this w/ oral (by mouth) anti-fungals, which is very easy. And then also, an anti-fungal shampoo should be used for at least a year. How are the ears? Is she licking/chewing the paws?
