I've tried searching for this and have found other strange eating habits, but haven't come across this one.

Cooper scratches the carpet before eating, sometimes so hard that fibers go flying! Luckily we have an area rug there now so he doesn't ruin our new carpet.

Does any body else's Yorkie do this?
