I'm just thinking that a staple up Hydronic system would beat electric hands down and save you a lot of $$ in the long run. Guess it would depend on what type of system you have to heat the house with. Do you have a boiler or forced air?
The floor heater you are looking at will not heat a room. It will only heat maybe a inch or more from the coil.
