Schedule!
Work with what the breeder does for times, and slowly introduce yours, 15 minutes at a time. Feeding time, bed time, play time... Do this on work days, and weekends as well. My babes all have a long morning, and aft nap, and sleep through the night! But for the first 8 months, they had there naps, even on the week ends, in there quiet place.
A tired puppy, will sleep well, make a long walk, or a low-key play time part of your nightly routine, like you would with a child. And even if you have a puppy bed, coil a towel (like a donut) and make a small hole in it. He will feel safe, and cozied, in his crate!
Good luck! |
