Did you know there are NO pets in Haiti? In 2008 almost all livestoock and other animals were killed in that disaster. And before that the ONLY dogs seen were packs of wild dogs. The people of Haiti could barely feed there families before all of this, they cannot and never have owned pets. They cannot afford to care for them.
The average Haitian makes 1.00 a day. Some friends adopted 2 Haitian children not to long ago and they are deathly afraid of dogs.
The pictures being shown on the HSUS are not even haitian dogs, they are from other places. They will NOT be allowed to come into haiti either. People are first there and they are still having problems getting supplies into them.
It is a ploy by the HSUS and the ASPCA to get your money.. NONE of it will go to Haiti animals. |
