I have a friend in Texas that rescued a yorkie with full tail. The pup was 2 years of age and for sanitary reasons, had his tail lasered. Other than the fact that I saw the dog prior to surgery with a full tail, I'd have never known anything was done. The next day the dog was fine, it never bothered him.
