Weight is a hard thing to predict. My puppies are 12 weeks and range from 2 1/2 to 2 3/4 I expect the biggest one to reach 5 1/2- 6 pounds.

Do you realize there is no such thing as a teacup yorkie?
The AKC ruling is 3 times in a year or 7 in a lifetime.....

However, it's the breeder's responsibility to get it done ASAP....DNA certification should take maybe a month to get back. It shouldn't take months.....You order the kit from AKC via their website. You get it at the most in a week, you swab the cheek, mail it back, at the most a month. Once she has that in her hands, she sends in the litter registration......takes a couple of weeks to get that back.

And your right, weight and size is one of the most difficult things to predict. I've seen some get to 3 pounds at 8 weeks and maybe put another 1/2 pound that's it. Then I have one that was 3 1/2 pounds until she was a year old, she's now 7 pounds at 8 years of age. She just did a growth spurt.....
