I forgot to update this thread sorry. Callie went to the vet yesterday they checked her very well and told us that I need to go see an orthopedic surgeon to determine if it was really 100% a soft tissue injury or something else and that they have better things to do special xrays with. Today she is still limping some and I gave her some metacam this morning but she was still limping and seemed to be hurting late afternoon so crushed the tramadol mix with a little water and used the syringe to give it to her and she spit the liquid back out at me. I wish she could understand it would make her feel better if she took it
I called the orthopedic surgeon and they gave me an appointment for next tuesday and they told me no food after 10pm monday night which kind of scares me because it sounds like if they think she needs surgery that they will do it then and I donno if I will be ready for that, dont get me wrong I do not want my baby hurting and I want her better but wow that would just be wow. I feel so worried and overwelmed. If something happened to her in surgery I would just die I think.
