Oh yes, I met them, they had to be approved by me ! They spent 2 hours at our house meeting Ambrey, and then we did their home visit (w/ a Valley Dogs member, who knows how to do those ).

The family is amazing - a married couple w/ a 10 yr. old girl, 7 yr. old boy, big back yard. Ambrey sleeps w/ Mom and Dad . Mom is a stay-at-home Mom, so Ambrey is with her all day long. We saw them again at Petsmart on Saturday (after their 2wk trial) and they're all doing incredible. Ambrey's fur has grown completely over her head wounds. She might be at the PetWalk w/ Valley Dogs too!

We really had a tough time letting her go...at the same time, we feel really blessed that we brought her together w/ her forever family, bc they are wonderful - and I email w/ her new Mom .

What a wonderful story...you know they need more help with small dog rescue in Phoenix...I can get you a name if you are interested. I think you would be just fabulous...
