Hello, I frequently fly with my girls and found the soft sherpa bags to be most comfortable for both of us. Some flights I found the crew to be very strict and others very lax on their so called "pet rules".
Both my girls wimper in the beginning of the flight so I would put the bag on my lap to comfort them. I typically don't feed them 4 hours prior to boarding the flight. So far I have found the airports to be very pet friendly. The only time they actually spent in the carrier was on the plane other than that we would carry them (in harness and leash) and due to delays I was forced to find an unpopulated area to put down a pad. Honestly I have never had a problem. My pet kit has baby wipes, nutrical, antibacterial oinment, q-tips, pen light, forcepts/tweezers and medicne dropper. If your baby has a sensitive tummy I would reccomend bringing pepto (yes another traveler used all my baby wipes) that poor baby. If your staying in a hotel please look under the bed for small items they can choke on. Lola found a lovely cuff link..lol. Hope you have a wonderful safe trip!
