I totally agree. I am so amazed that people will sell yorkies that cheap. that is a insult to the Yorkie breed. I have only sold 1 yorkie in TN and that one went for $ 800.00 to a Dr. for his neice for Christmas. I will not sell my babies that cheap. quality breed, Quality price equals Quality owner. I went looking for a Yorkie female here in Tn and ran into a HUGE Puppymill. They had all the puppies of SEVERAL different breeds in cages 10by10 at least 5 to a cage. The parents of the puppies were no where to be found. when I asked the young kid that showed us the puppies if I could see the mommy, He said o.k. and walked into a back section of the shop, I peaked thru the door and saw at least a hundred or more of crates piled 3 high with DOGS IN THEM! But here is the scarest thing. I was going to report it to the Animal Control for that city and guess what THEY ARE RUNNING THIS PUPPYMILL. I cant seem to get anyone in that town to listen to me. I was so shocked to find out it was run by the animal control in the city. I have tried to contact the news, humane society, etc... Noone in that town wants to here it. My vet said they have had several puppies come in that were sick or died from this place. Does anyone have a suggestion. sorry to change the subject, you just got me on a roll lol |
