I would also check the quality of the pups. You could have pet pups/parents that are cute and look like yorkies with no problems. And then there are pet pups that are going to grow up not cute, or over sized, or terrier coat texture, or have big ears, etc.... If nice I would go by what the pet price is in your area and then if the pups are not going to be that nice, or oversized, or have a problem (over bite, etc..) I would reduce the price from there depending on the problem. So the further they are from the standard, I would reduce price. You could also go on some go-sees - Check out the pups of other pet breeders in your area and see. Just be careful when you come back home - you do not want to bring their germs into your home.[/QUOT
The average pet buyer does not recognize quality..it is a simple fact. People "look" with their hearts..a pup can be oversized, ear flopped and under bite..and they will think it looks just as nice as a champion line pup..and that is good, because all pups deserve a great home.
Most pet buyers say.."ALL YORKIE PUPPIES LOOK THE SAME TO ME"...and I understand that...99% Rottie, Boxer, Spaniel, Doxie etc pups like similiar to me too... |
