She looks like a puppy again
The groomer that I take my dogs to gets big $$$, but they really try to work to get snarls and mats out so no haircut has to be drastic. Puddie has a cotton coat, and he stays short. Bella has the long coat, and as hard as I try, she gets snarls close to the skin. So they earn their money with her
. Most groomers would just cut her short to avoid the hassle.
As an objective outsider, Miss Muffie looks adoreable. I know it's probably a shock to you, but she looks great. It'll grow back, and it will be a while before you need to go back for another cut if you're looking to grow it back out.
