Have your vet check his knees if you suspect LP's. It is very easy to diagnose with manipulation.

Nancy, how old was Joey when the vet said he had LP's? Puppy's knees can tighten up on their own as they mature.
I believe that he was two when he was first diagnosed; his first puppy check up was good, as well as his one-year check up. The vet was the first to tell me about the grade one, and I saw his breeder about 6 months after that who noticed the LP as well. She told me to start him on the glucosamine, and I do what she tells me! I'll be seeing her soon and I'm anxious to know if she's sees an improvement. It could be just a coincidence.
