If you are selling pets from Yorkies with a pet pedigree, you have to basically go with area prices. If local pet breeders are asking $500 or $700 and you ask $1000/$1500, I doubt you will get buyers...it is whatever the average area price is for pets. Perhaps, if you keep them longer then what I see in the paper (8 weeks)...say 12 to 16 weeks, you can add more for vets fees.
If a breeder has pet pups from their champion lines..and I mean champions in the second gen...puppy being the first generation, they already know the average price among breeders. |
