Vinegar is slightly acidic, and is really good at cleaning things, I use it on my hardwood flooring and have used it on carpets before. It can work pretty well for stains, however, it doesn't seem to help prevent them from returning to the spot like enzyme cleaners do. Also, Nature's Miracle doesn't leave any tell-tell line around the spot that other products sometimes leave.
