 Brush Biter
How on earth do you teach your dog to let you brush him? My Nikko attacks the brush every time I try to comb him. He won't stay still and tries to bite the handle. The last time I took him for a haircut the groomer wound up giving him a buzz cut because of all the mats he had. I felt totally responsible but I can't brush him properly if he keeps attacking the brush. What do I do to make him stop? I don't want to forcibly hold him down, that would only make him fearful. I know he is just being playful but sometimes it can get frustrating. Any advice? |
