Yes I have read also that the lighting is more important than the camera. The clamp lights work great, I use flood bulbs in mine. One is an incandescent, the other is outdoor light.

I put them on a small table with a big pillow on top and have a piece of black velvet hanging from the wall and the draped over the pillow.
