I haven't actually put Duke's bows on yet, he's filthy...lol My opinion would be to make the ponytail first with its own band, then just wrap the bows band over those. I would think you should be able to get the bow off without cutting the band.
In my case I'm sure Duke will have it out of his hair 2min after I put it in.
We're still working on the topknot issue.
