Cali has been in a large dog playpen since i got her at 9 weeks. At one end is her mat and bed and the other is her wee wee pad. The playpen has a door on the one end that I leave open during the day. She has always gone on her wee wee pad and during the day just hops in there and uses it. She does have a pad in the other end of the house which she uses also. It has worked very well for me as she was too little to go all night. Just this last week I have put her in my bed at night ans she will hop down on the stairs I have by the side of my bed and go in her crate and do her business and run back up to sleep. So my experience has been very positive. I do not expect to train her to go outside until spring and will aways have a pad down for her. You can PM me if you have any questions. |
