Maybe because you dropped her off she is afraid you will do it again cause from the sounds of it her experience was bad and your hubby 'saved' her, at least to her. Poor thing. It's so hard to find a good, trustworthy groomer. I have groomers come to my house, if ever but i usually just do it myself.
