This just started about 2 months ago....I have never had a problem with Lillie sleeping all night/until we get up in the morning, but lately, she's up at 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, on on on....I usually either let her out to go to the bathroom, then place her back in her crate where she'll whine until we get up. I feel TERRIBLE because sometimes we move her crate into the bathroom and shut the door but we have to get some sleep! The dog trainer we went to said to NOT let her out even especially if she's whining like that because she needs to know who's boss and she can't have her way--and she'll continue to do that if we do. But DANG we need to sleep. I don't know what to do, we tried cutting the food/drink off at a certain hour at night, tried leaving her out of her crate during the day while we aren't home so she can play and get tired (I KNOW----that's a huge NO NO but this has actually worked 'some').

Anyone have any other suggestions? She just seems to be full of energy at whatever hour she wakes up. ---the joys of motherhood.
