I am a first time yorkie owner as well. I haven't had mine very long. But, my breeder had me to smash cottage cheese and plain yogart in her wet food for 2 weeks to keep her eating. I also put a little nutrical in it. It worked for us. She ate fine. They don't eat very much at a time anyway. Good luck.
