We got Izzy on Jan 15th....Up till now she has NOT had an accident on my carpet, just a few on my kitchen floor and once in her crate...We live in Michigan so right now it's very cold...Too cold for her to go outside. So i bought her a doggie litter box...When she comes out of her crate, after she's done eating and after she has played for about 45 mins I put her in that litter box...She goes right away...We have a spot in our luandry room that the litter box fits perfect, then I put a gate up right there...She has no other place to go but in that box...lol..I know, I'm so mean!!
I let her her again right around midnight for the last time..And she makes it till about 6 am.. This is the same way i trainded my Chihuahua and it worked great...Now when it warms up some I will start taking her outside.
So maybe not in 7 days but it can be done...And i'm sure it helps that I'm a stay-at-home-mom and I'm here all day with her.
