Today my sister's yorkie (Ella's dad) was running around playing and ran into a nail that was sticking out of the wall, b/c their idiot of a landlord doesn't fix things, and he has a gash on his side. It's not deep just kind of an open wound. Well thing is she doesn't have the money to pay a large vet bill and i don't know if he'll get any treatment. She's going to wait until tomorrow to call my vet and check out prices b/c the local animal er charged 80 dollars for a visit instead of 40 and charged out the butt for stitches (if needed). What if she can't take him to the vet? Will he be okay? I am so worried. I can't stop thinking about him. She tells me he's eating, drinking and using the bathroom normally, but i just don't know. Any advice is welcome.
