I am new here but would just like to add a thought about this topic. I have been married for 33 years to a man who is definitely not an "animal lover". He never quite understood how I could become so attached to the many pets we have had over the years...until Missy came along! Now everyone is so shocked in how much he has bonded with our little girl. My children are amazed. So maybe there is hope! There is a chance he just said a stupid thing and will realize how wrong he is. Maybe you can talk to him about it and give him a chance to explain. Some people aren't automatically "animal lovers" they just learn from others and from loving furry friends. |
