Your puppy is quite young...give it time. New babies can look like little Rotties!! LOL
The color is quite typical at that stage..if it was pure gold so early, it would be very pale by 6 months..Yorkies start dark and color develops over time...when it is time to go home you will be surprised how pretty the color is turning. Even on an 8 or 12 week old there will be dark hairs..lift up the hair and look at the under hair..look behind the ears..that is where the gold starts to turn on a puppy..but not at the age of your pup just yet...Best wishes |
