Many yorkies don't get their first heat until almost a year old and I've heard of a couple that were close to 13 months old. Ruby's first heat was at 11 months and then I had her spayed at 13 months. I doubt seriously if there is anything wrong with your yorkie and she'll probably start her heat soon.
