diarrhea is much more dehydrating than vomitting. I am not a fan of pepto at all it has a form of aspirin in it sulcrulfate is pepto without the aspirin in it which is safer for dogs. They changed the formula to pepto so some old timers still use this but i just do not think it is safe
the foamy vomit means the stomach is totally empty no more bile left
