The breeder where I got Kiki had the same set up. She had a large crate with a sleeping area and a pee pad also. This was so that the mother and the pups could all fit in the crate. I have a large crate here because the last dog I had was a Rott. Kiki is doing fine with it. He never soils the crate. I am also consistent with taking him outside to potty. As soon as I get home he runs straight to the door to go outside.
