Default Is this an emergency??

This is my first experience with a sick puppy so I'm a bit lost! My male Yorkie, Bo, is almost 7 months old and weighs almost 4 pounds (I got him in September). He has had diarrhea since Tuesday. I called his vet yesterday and he gave him special canned food (bland diet), pulled him off his regular kibble (IAMs) and had me give him Pepto Bismol (4cc) last night, and this morning. He has had 2 or 3 solid BMs now (dark greenish and slimy) and has acted great all day. Ate and drank vigorously. Starting about 30 minutes ago he has thrown up about 15 times. No foul odor. The food all came back up about like it went in. He is now heaving and producing a somewhat foamy mucous. He has all of his immunizations, doesn't have exposure to other dogs (except last Sunday. We went to my mom's and Bo went outside once to potty. They have a yellow lab. The dogs never interacted, and the lab is healthy as far as I know. Also the lab doesn't do his business in the yard where my Bo was.) Is this an emergency? I didn't give the Pepto tonight. Can this wait until Monday morning when his vet is in? He did just drink some water and has kept it down for 10 minutes. I had errands in town most of day so took him with me in his kennel. He did great, but could he just be stressed out? He usually doesn't like to go in the car but I have been working with him the past week to get him over the whining. Did it bring on the diarrhea, etc? He is quite a little drama queen. Thank you so much for any insight!
