Hi, I am a Macbook user also. I happened to walk into an Apple store in May 2008 and walked out the owner of a white Macbook. I love this computer, it does everything I need for home computing and guess what it still runs as fast as the day I got it.
At the time I was working for the leading PC seller in the world (HP) as a Product Manager can you imagine the trouble I would have gotten into if they knew I converted to a Mac?
I still use a Windows Laptop at work, I don't hate it and it works fine but performance levels are very low and I have only had it since April .
I would advise you take the One to One classes (the classes you referred to for $100.00 per year). They are GREAT, the instructors are so nice and knowledgable.
