First, there are worse things than not having a man. A healthy relationship is based on a partnership. If he knows these dogs are important to you then they need to be important to him. If he is talking about you finding another "man" then he doesn't sound invested in your relationship. You can always tell what a person will do in the future by what they have done in the past, with rare exception. This man has bailed once out of a relationship with you and chances are he will do it again. I would suggest you put a huge gulf of distance between you and "Mr. Uninvested" and look elsewhere for a relationship. Life is too short to keep going out with men who are so selfish and self absorbed. |
