I am not sure about spay differences with personality or weight between males/females but I believe the changes I saw with Zoey (slight backtrack with training and 'continuing' weight gain) would have happened regardless.
Neither is serious and from my reading, it appears that the potty/training issue is standard whether they are spayed or not and she was still gaining weight before... so to continue is not surprising to me. So NO negatives with these issues, at least for us.
Benefits of spaying outweigh any potential negative - in my subjective opinion. Good Luck! |
